• Greetings,

This is the oddest problem I’ve ever run into, and because I’m new to WordPress, I have a feeling it has something to do with a setting in the CMS.

Quite simply, try this: print out any page of the site https://www.cypresshilldevelopment.com . Print to a printer, print to PDF, however you like; and in any browser (I tested in Firefox and IE8).

I’m betting that your print comes out in plain, unformatted text from the page, without any of the CSS, images, backgrounds, or organization.

What on earth is going on? I haven’t been able to find any documentation on this problem so I assume I’m making a boneheaded mistake somewhere.

It’s fairly common for sites to be designed to with a separate view for print. Plus your site contains a significant amount on javascript that is unlikely to work on a printer.

Is there no solution then, beyond creating a separate “print” page for everything? In other words, is installing something like WP-Print the only way forward?
