    Hello,

I’ve had several instances where I’ve developed websites for clients and integrated Yoast, and even though author archives are disabled, my WP username still comes up in Google’s auto generated site links? Is there a way to stop this?

In line with this, my pages often come up with the publish date before the meta description in Google search results; is there a way to disable this?

    Thank you!

Sitelinks are automatically generated by Google based on information Google crawls for the site. If the username appears, there is likely something on your site that displays the username publicly that Google discovered. This would require a deep analysis of the site to locate where Google found the information and determine the next step. The best advice, at this point,?would be to check for a local SEO company and see if they can help out.

WordPress, along with many themes, automatically add hatom microformats onto your posts and, sometimes your pages. While it’s possible to remove date information, it’s not always a simple process. This article has more information: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/date-appears-search-results/#remove
