Issues with DHL Plugin from version 1.5 from Austria

    I run a WooCommerce store in Austria: https://www.magped.com
    We use the WooCommerce DHL plugin heavily.
    Since version 1.5 the plugin does not work any more for us and in WooCommerce—>Settings—>Shipping the tab ?DHL Paket“ has gone
    and in order details we were not able any more to produce DHL labels.
    I had to revert to 1.43 to get it back.

    I know that the Austrian business of DHL was closed but we sill use DHL to send parcel to all other European countries.
    Therefor will sill have an DHL account which works fine – but only with version 1.43 of the plugin.

    Hope to get a fix soon!!

    If DHL Paket was closed for Austria, how can you send within Europe? Is it with the same account?

    Hi Shadi!

    Yes DHL Paket was closed for Austria, but we use DHL still to send all our parcel to all other EU countries (3 times a week a DHL truck picks up all our parcel for all EU countries at our site in Aldrans/Austria and delivers it to Munich). For Austria we use DHL Express now.
    The problem is, that DHL Paket does not show up in our WooCommerce System since version 1.5. So our shop as Austria as home country defined, and I thinks that’s why DHL Paket does not show up any more.
    But in Austria are a lot of companies who still use DHL Paket to send to all other Countries except Austria.

    Could you please enable DHL Paket again in the DHL WooCommerce plugin?
    It’s super critical for us because we are still ship 95% of your parcels via DHL!

    Would Deutsche Post International work for you instead? This is enabled in version 1.5.

    No Deutsche Post International is not an option because we have working Contracts with DHL Paket – which works fine with version 1.43 for us, but I want to be on the latest version with the plugin….

    Just tried the new version 1.52 – but sill missing the “DHL Paket”.
    Do you have any new informations for me on that issue?

    Paul,

    In 1.5.3 we have added a WordPress filter which allows you to modify the base country of the DHL plugin, even if you have the WooCommerce base country set to Austria.

    Place this snippet of code in your Child Theme and the plugin will assume the base country is Germany.
