    Hi,
nice plugin. I have set everything, in french, but stil there are the buttoms text, the fist line the data request tab and some others littles things in english.
I didn’t fin any .mo french language. In the translation prodjet there is a file to download, but how to integrate it ?
This is weird because the admin has some words in french, others in english, but the translation project has all the goo translations.
I can’t let the english part in my french site specialy the text of the mail with the link to the data acces request wich is totally in english.
Is there a way to fix that ?

    Thanks

    Laurent

  • Hello,

I have the same issue, I would like to translate the emails in french, and of course the data acces request page for my website. Also, I don’t know if you’ve tried, but when a client asks for anonymise, this client receives 3 e-mails, 2 of them with ‘wordpress@…’. There are a lot of things to adjust, i’ll continue to look for on the code, and if I find some answers I’ll come here to answer them.
Unfortunately, it’s still difficult to make a french website with all gdpr rules…

There is on the developper tab in the www.ads-software.com plugin page an acces to all traductions projet and the french is quite complete in an export in .mo. And the is a “language” folder un the plugin folder. But… No instruction to install and declare it for the plugin to use it.
I’m quite used to do that, but here… No solution…

Regarding the mails, I managed to edit its texts on ‘Ajax.php’ which is in the file ‘Includes’. Just change the texts.

With this clue, I could find almost all the strings to translate : in “includes” folder, indeed Ajax.php, but also Data.php and Shortcode.php

I did a backup of the original file, but also the translated file because in case of iupdate, thsi could be overwritten.

Hope the support could give us a solution that could be steadier…

    Hey @laudag,

    The translations are community managed.
I will see if the administrators can update them but right now there is not much to do.
A less hacky solution right now is to download a tool like poedit and find the .pot file.

Make the right changes and then upload it.

    Kind regards

Ok, thank, indeed with the .pot file I can make my own translation. Lot of work :-p
