I run a couple of websites each with more than a hundred NextGen galleries, and with thousands of photos within. The plugin works very well.

However, I’m now testing an update or upgrade to a page builder. More specifically the Divi theme and the Divi builder plugin. To me it seems like the combination Divi and NGG is a bad one. There seems to be no integration at all, in the sense that I will not be able to use the galleries from within the page builder. I will have to create a shortcode in a post outside the Divi builder, then copy and paste it into a text block in the Divi builder.

If this is the only way, it is a huge show stopper. I will either drop the switch over to Divi, or find an alternative to NGG Gallery. (I would hate to go back to the standard WordPress Media gallery.)

    What is your advice?

    Hi @sandalsand,

We are really sorry but I must agree that we don’t currently have any integration with Divi builder at the moment. We may look forward to add a integration at a future point but, still, I can’t tell you for sure if this is going to happen or not neither to set a time expectation.

I will go ahead and add one more vote for this feature request from your behalf.

    Sorry for the inconveniences

By the way. We have recently added a minimalist integration for Elementor page builder and from now it is possible to add a gallery textual shortcode in using a “Text module”.
It still doesn’t offer the possibility to visually edit the shortcode after inserting it but at least it could be removed and re-generated again if that’s needed.

Thank you for replying so fast.

    Hello,
I also use the Divi Theme and I have a lifetime licence for Nextgen Gallery and a lifetime licence for Divi.
I see you updated this item
