• I have a link on my homepage that says “Devotionals” I want to write a devotional, have it appear on the front page and under the devotional link so someone can scroll through just the devotionals and not have to read the other posts on my site if they don’t want to. I cannot figure out hoe to do this. Any help is appreciated.

    My site is https://www.arlingtonbelievers.com

  • Set up a category called Devotionals and file the relevant posts under this new category. They will then appear on your home page and on the Devotionals category page.

This is what I did. When I click on the tag “Devotional” that’s exactly what happens. However, when I click on the link “Devotional” on my menu, it takes you to the page I have set up for my devotionals but none of the devotionals show up there. I guess there needs to be a way to link a category to always show up on a specific page as well as the front page. I know how to do this in Joomla, but WordPress is very different.

You don’t need a page. Just create the category. I think that, as soon as you file your first post in the Devotionals catgeory, the link to that category will appear on the menu. Quite a few themes hide empty categories.
