    Existing Images Optimization:
    “We will optimize all your existing images with minimal or no loss in quality. Note, that this will overwrite your original images.”

    If this overwrites my images, will it change image titles and alternative text/descriptions associated with the original images?

  • I think it only applies to the files themselves, that are the target for the optimization.

    Short answer: NO

    We will only replace the original image files with the optimized images. The image metadata is stored in the database and we don’t change it.
