Unresponsive team and hard to delete

  • Beware before installing this plugin. I installed this to try out a few unique features it offers, however after playing around with it for a day, I realized my current plugin was offering everything I need and decided to delete this. After a few days I noticed that categories are getting assigned to RSS feed posts automatically. I was perplexed as this resulted in posts appearing on pages where they are not supposed to.This is a unique feature this plugin offered which is fine for auto-blogging but plays havoc for a curated website like mine. This means that simple delete doesn’t work for this plugin and remnants of code remain. On realizing this I wrote thrice to their support thread asking how to completely remove this plugin from my website. However they have not bothered to reply. It is a bit embarrassing for me that posts are popping up everywhere without me assigning them to the page. However this plugin authors won’t listen and help me. They are very aggressive in their positioning of the plugin, however their follow-up seems very passive. I am giving two stars for now. But if they fix my issue I will change that to better.

    We’ re sorry about your problem, you wrote 3 times in less than 24 hours.
    As a WordPress user with free code and open source you should know that we do not work with urgencies. Anyway you already have the answer in your Topic since yesterday.

    But if you need help urgently you should consider hiring a developer to help you with your problem. At https://jobs.wordpress.net/ there are many programmers available if you just post your problem there.

    This plugin publishes posts and also creates new categories if you set it up for that. After deactivating it there is not any part of the plugin working anymore, but the posts and categories you created before deactivating it will remain published.
