Problem Adding .step and .stp Files

  • I’ve installed the plugin and can see the extensions in the list of allowed file types, but I still can’t upload them. They are 3D assembly files of products.

    Dear heretodestroy,

    I can upload .step and .stp files on my WordPress test site.

    Setting in the plugin
    step = application/octet-stream
    stp = application/octet-stream

    Is “Security reason” why upload failed?
    Please confirm the maximum upload size in the new upload windows of the media menu.
