I have a rather simple question, but I’m new to this. I’ve downloaded some templates and on a couple of them, I noticed that there is a small window that says something like, “this page can’t be found” that seems to stay on the front page of the theme.

What is suppose to be inserted into these windows. It doesn’t look like something that you’d put a banner ad into.

  • You will need to provide a link to download the theme you are talking about…maybe someone can then look at that theme to see the issue.

A link would be best, but I can imagine the theme builder added paths to urls that would require mod_rewrite to be active (and configured in WP -> Permalinks). If that’s the case I’m sure the theme builder left some documentation about that requirement.

themes.svn.www.ads-software.com Here is a link to the theme. Thanks for the help.

It’s called Anfaust 1.1 by Andreas Hultgren. I’ve seen some others like this and just wondered what they were for.

here is a small window that says something like, “this page can’t be found” that seems to stay on the front page of the theme.

Not seeing that problem after installing/activating Anfaust.

Might want to provide a link to see the problem.

OK, I’m retarted. It’s where the posts show up. It’s a new blog and I didn’t have anything written yet.

    Sorry ??
