• I created a website for an online upholstery school and blocked content with shortcode from users who have not paid a woocommerce fee during the signup process. As a result members cannot directly sign up, their emails are sent to one of the admins I created who will only approve their signup if they have paid the signup fee. since then the admins have basically lost all of their privileges. They can’t approve pending memberships or even view other people’s profiles in the dashboard section they are just redirected to the homepage. I have tried changing every setting but I cannot figure out what to do, it’s very frustrating because I have to go and approve all their memberships for them as a super-admin and I don’t have the time for that. can anyone help?

  • Go to the User Roles section under Ultimate Member and find the role that the users in question have. Click Edit under that role. At the very top of the Edit Role page is a checkbox for “Can access wp-admin?”. Make sure that’s checked.

Having that not checked is what causes the behavior you’re describing. You probably intentionally don’t want it checked on whatever role your normal subscribers have, but your admins and moderators and so forth should probably have it.
