It would be amazing if you could add Oxygen compatibility (it shouldn’t be hard I think). Currently no other TOC plugin supports it, so this would certainly give you an edge as people would recommend this plugin in Oxygen related groups etc.

Oxygen uses a custom field to store the content of a page/post. The custom field that Oxygen uses to store content is called ct_builder_shortcodes. So all your plugin would have to do is to check for presence of a custom field called ct_builder_shortcodes and if it exists, use the content of that to generate the TOC.

Sorry, but ezTOC is only compatible with themes and builder which store the content in the post content filter which is run thru the_content filter.

I’m very well aware of that, which is why I opened this ticket. So you aren’t planning on adding support for Oxygen?

Sorry, but it is not feasible to build these types of integration solutions and maintain those integrations. I plan to support only the new WP Editor. Now that said I may decide to create “premium addons” to add support for popular page builders such Elementor. So, Oxygen could be a possibility. Before that, I first need to complete the rewrite of ezTOC and release it before I consider this further.
