• Hi there,

I’ve just updated the plugin to get the SCA feature. I unchecked the box in the settings to activate it however for some reason after payments it redirects to the /wp-admin page instead of a thank you page that I’ve created and set up to redirect to in the product settings.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi.

First, edit your product and change image URL from “http” to “https”. At the moment it gives “mixed content” warning, which can interfere with payment process (all live payments must be made from valid HTTPS pages).

If that isn’t helping, can you enable debug log in the plugin settings and also switch off “Live” mode, then try to make a test payment using any of these cards https://stripe.com/docs/testing#cards ? Then view debug log and look for line that looks like this:

Redirecting to results page “(some url here)”.

Make sure the URL in quotes is a valid URL from your website. E.g. if you copy and paste it to your browser, you can open results page on your site.

Let me know how this goes.

    Hello,
I have a similar problem. When I test payment with the new API, the thank you page gives me error 500. The payment is however visible on the Stripe dashboard. I also tried to enable the log but this didn’t help me.

    Hi.

Which PHP version are you using?

Have you tried to check your server’s error log? There should be some info on error 500.

I have the same problem too with the new API after update my stripe payments.

When I introduce the test card and I acccept the payment I receive this.

    Could you help me ?

@danibaha , your issue seems to be different from the one described here. Please provide more info on the support topic you created.

@slv96 , @tomasjancarek , could you please install current testing version (2.0.7t1) and see if the issue goes away?

Hello Alexander, thanks for your fast feeback.

I was using the stripe payments with the old version after the new version of today and I didn’t have problems with the test payments because is not live now.

So, today, I updated the app and I desactivated the other old API in the advanced options according the new rules of SCA payments because the old version is not valid with the new rules.

So, now, I have this new API and when I am going to do the test link the attached picture, I receive that message and I can’t do nothing more. I didn’t change nothing more, I just updated the plugin and desactivated the old version to the SCA.

    What can I do ?

    thanks!

    Hi there,

Thank you for the guidance, I’ve finally got around testing it and it indeed was due to the http in the picture and thank you page. I’ve created a new product, relinked it and it fixed the issue.

    Many thanks for your help.

Thank you for sharing and glad you have it resolved, Tom.

We will add warning in upcoming versions of the plugin that both product image URL and thank you page URL must be HTTPS for live mode.

    Greetings,

Both the product image URL and thank you page URL are HTTPS for live mode…

But, unfortunately, every time a customer tries to make a purchase after the payment it redirects to a page that states there are technical issues. Thus the buyer has no access to my product!

How can I resolve this problem?

    Hi Apostolos.

Please try testing version (Stripe Payments -> Settings, look for testing version at the right hand column). It should resolve the issue. Let me know the results.

    It works fine!

    Thank you very much, Alexander!

Will this testing version automatically updated when the standard version is released?

    (@alexanderfoxc)

Yessir! We just need some time to complete testing and you just helped with that ??

Stable version should be released soon. Thank you for reporting.

Thank you for your help Alexander!
