slow loading login page

    My WordPress takes too much time to load, First I thought it is because of home page slider or issue of theme. But I when I tried to load the WordPress login page, it too around 50 seconds to load. What may be the reason? Because login page has no theme, no plugin components, etc ?

    Please advice

    Hi Vinod,

    It really all depends on what’s installed on your WordPress site. If you have excessive amounts of plugins and/or themes installed then it can drag down available resources that are allocated within your web server’s CPU. However, this could also be because of your hosting provider’s provided amount of resources.

    If you’re running on a cheaper hosting plan provided by hosting providers such as GoDaddy then this could be the cause of the issue. Most shared hosting providers will partition off the number of available CPU resources so they can fit more users into one server.

    But is the amount of plugins affect the loading time for the wordpress admin panel login window?

    Hi Vinod,

    Yes, if you have plugins that are resource intensive on the server then it could potentially slow down frame loading. I’d recommend looking at all of the plugins currently installed on the site then do some research to see their minimum server requirements. Some plugins require a server to meet certain specifications as it runs more processes than some other plugins might.

    If you’re running on a cheaper hosting plan, then this is more than likely the case. This can also be applied if you have a lot of content on the site, as WordPress stores the content in the ‘wp-content’ directory on the server.

    Is this only happening on the WordPress Admin Login page or across your entire site? If it’s just the login page I’d look at your plugins and see if you have any authentication plugins that may be slowing down the login page.
