• We are using this on over 60 sites (30 live and 30 staging) and I must say, this plugin is more trouble than it’s worth. Do not use this plugin unless you want to be stuck with fixing all the errors yourself. The developer support is non existent, as you have to ‘comment’ on the specific content type on the h5p site in order to get a response, that’s a big ‘IF’ you get a response. There’s no dedicated support for talking to someone about issues since it appears to be developed by a community. We’ve had several libraries with corrupt dependency trees, files that just disappear from the uploads/h5p/libraries directory and each time, I’ve had to migrate the files back and actually fix the database records in order to get the content working again. We’ve had to resort to turning off the hub and updates, chmod to the server to prevent any writing (deleting and adding) of the library files and clean up the missing database records.

When the plugin works, it works great. However, my advice is to not use this plugin.

  • Hi jm124y!

The central spot for support are the forums at https://h5p.org (for feature requests, bugs, etc.) – the website that’s dedicated to the project. BV52 is answering questions every weekday and forwards more complicated issued to the core team – whose members are working full time on the project; it’s not completele developed by the community.

Browsing through the support forum here on www.ads-software.com reveals that most questions have received an answer.

    Best,
    Oliver
