Woocommerce upgrade causes settings error

    Upgrading Woocommerce plugin from version 3.6.5 to 3.7.0 causes the “setttings” to fail. I can’t access any shipping, payments etc at all.
    I get ” The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin mail inbox for instructions.”

    The recovery mode was removing the function WooCommerce.

    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 337 of the file /var/www/vhosts/web.co.uk/httpdocs/sdeck/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/admin/settings/class-wc-settings-general.php. Error message: Cannot declare class WC_Settings_General, because the name is already in use

    This is my test site but live has no settings access too.
    Any ideas! I am going round in circles!
