Export posts data to valid XML file

  • Hi,

    I’m using wordpress as a “contacts book” so i use a lot of customfields

    Now.. i need to export the data (organized) so i can import it to excel and make reports to my company but when i export posts data to XML file.. i figure out that this XML is very well organized but is not XML compilant.. indeed is a RSS plus other things… so i can not read this data in any xml compilant reader (like excel)

    reading in the forum some guy suggered to export data right from the mysql database.. but data is very bad organized and is not useful.

    is there any way to make this XML non compilant file… be readable in a XML compilant reader?

  • What about an MYSQL odbc driver that you can access the wordpress tables directly in excel using a database query?
