Waveform not appearing

You are trying to stream a file that is on another URL than where the player resides.
That said, it gives you a CORS policy error.

Either you host/reupload the file in the same domain name, or you add CORS control header to your streaming url server.

Thank you for the answer. I have now tried to add/upload a file via the player (track 5) and indeed – the waveform is there. But I need it to work with external files, so I have added this to the htaccess file of the subdomain:

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”

Now the error does not appear, yet the waveform still doesn’t work.

Also, for local files, I cannot set the “Artist – Title” and instead it shows the name of the Page (which is “Pealkiri”) for the 5th track.

I’m really considering buying the player to get the sticky player function, but I need to get it to work as I need it first.

@sonaar have you tested it and managed to make the waveform appear with external files?

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

I’m sorry for causing this. However, just to let others know, sonaar said that the error was found and an official update to the plugin will come soon that will fix it.
