Adding picture thumbnails as previews for excerpts

Hi, is there anyway I can post thumbnails next to each post in a category, showing all the images that are included in the article?
For example https://www.bloodylexicon.com/category/monsters/beasts/
I want it to show all the picture thumbnails next to Al,Alu, is this easily possible?
