Magazine Basic looks different in IE

  • I like Magazine Basic. Normally I use Firefox, but when I looked at my blog in IE it just doesn′t look the same. The “sidebar”-widget up in the head is not in the head in IE – it is placed under the head, just before the posts. And the metafields under the post on single page is so small that I wonder if anyone except nearsighted me can read it.

    Why is this. The theme is supposed to be tested with bort IE and Firefox.

    I have the latest versions of both browsers.

  • No two browsers render things the same way. Your site will never look the same in IE as in Firefox and it won’t look the same on Safari or Chrome or Opera. What you can hope for is that it will look okay in all of them and function correctly. Sounds like yours isn’t working right. You’ll need to fiddle with the CSS.
