    Hi,

    When pressing the Connect button, nothing happens. I can see that a modal windows should popup, but it doesnt.

    When looking through inspection tool, i can see that there is an error.
    I’ve attached a screenshot of the error.

    Anyone got any ideas, on how to solve this issue?

    @kshh thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re working on a patch that will help with certain pop-up scenarios. In the interim, you could try another browser to see if that helps get you connected.

    I’ve tried both Firefox, Chrome and Edge, all with the same problem.

    Have you got an ETA on the patch? ??

    @kshh this may be a pretty obvious answer that you have already tried – but do you have a popup blocker of sorts that might be getting in the way of opening up this new window?

    For instance when you’re using FireFox, typically the blocker will have a notice at the top in yellow that says “allow popups for this site”.

    Have you tried enabling popups for your site first, then doing a page refresh to see if the changes have taken correctly?

    @kshh sorry for the delay. In our next release we will be addressing this issue you’re facing with the popup by showing a notice and preventing the error – but we’re not entirely convinced it’s going to fix it for you just yet. This feels as if the browser has a popup blocker of some sort, whether it is blocking a script from a privacy setting, or it’s blocking the actual popup, the reality is the browser is preventing that from completing.

    I would encourage you to triple verify that you don’t have any other browser extensions or privacy settings that might be getting in the way of this process even in the current version you’re using. ( if you’ve already done that, sorry ).

    @ryanhungate i’ve got it to work now. But now i’m getting some errors showing up in the log.

    What does this error meen?

    @kshh can you please explain what the problem was that you were experiencing for the popup not working? I would like to know the reasoning for other folks that might be running into this issue. Was it a popup blocker or a setting in your browser?

    Also – in response to your CURL response log, you have not given us enough to go by to properly respond. What was it trying to do in that log? We actually noticed that in the current version, we’re logging all 404 responses, and that’s actually more of a false positive than a real error like 99% of the time. If you would like to present more of the request being made we can take a look at it though.

    In regards to “working or not working”, can you confirm that your sync completed as well?

    @kshh just wanted to send another ping on this thread to see if we should close it out. Please let us know what you found to fix the plugin setup error you had experienced when you get a chance. I think it would be very helpful for others.

    @ryanhungate sorry for the delay, been hung up with some stuff lately.
    The problem was, that even though i went in to Adblock Plus and told it to not block ads and popups on my url, it did it anyway. So i had to go into the settings of Adblock Plus, and whitelist the URL.
    After that, the popup window was working as it should.
