  • Hi there,

This is something we see a lot with customers using Elegant Themes.
For some reason, their plugin is hooking into the update process for WooCommerce, making it seem like you need to renew your license with them before updating WooCommerce.

This is not necessary. My suggestion would be to reach out to the developers to let them know of the issue.
In order to update in the meantime, you can simply temporarily deactivate the Elegant Themes plugin, update WooCommerce, then reactivate Elegant Themes.
This has worked for many, but I’m unsure if there are any repercussions.

    Thank you,
    Joey

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

In my case, this didn’t work.
I disabled Elegant Themes plugin but I still got the message.
Then I completely deleted the plugin, and I STILL got the message!!

I think it’s because the Shipping Per Product plugin needed a license, this wasn’t just a normal update.

Somehow simply having Divi as the theme base still causes this issue.
