Translate to german de_DE_formal doesn’t work
-
Hello support team and to all happiness engineers!
(Sorry, formerly I wrote into another thread and get no answer, maybe because it was not really the same issue like inside this thread.)

Maybe that could be closed. My problem is about translating the checkout “Buy now” button correct into formally german (de_DE_formal).
There are two german language versions or variants. Probably the most used german version in onlineshops is de_DE, which is more friendly and confidential than the more formally and distanced german (de_DE_formal) variation. The whole site works perfect with de_DE_formal. Only the PPEC button text will be displayed in english.
When I switch to de_DE, which isn’t really reasonable, but then the button text is translated right and displayed in german. The folder /wp-content/languages/ contains following files:
de_DE.po
de_DE_formal.po
admin-de_DE.po
admin-de_DE_formal.po
admin-network-de_DE.po
admin-network-de_DE_formal.po
continents-cities-de_DE.po
continents-cities-de_DE_formal.po/wp-content/languages/plugins/
woocommerce-de_DE.po
woocommerce-de_DE_formal.po
woocommerce-admin-de_DE.po
woocommerce-admin-de_DE_formal.po
woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout-de_DE.po
woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout-de_DE_formal.po
woocommerce-germanized-de_DE.po
woocommerce-germanized-de_DE_formal.poIn config.php I force through “define (‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE_formal’);” to use german formal.
I tried language fallback plugins where you have the option to set up an second language if there’s no language pack. Nothing! As soon as I switch to de_DE_formal it seems PPECPG jumps back to english.
