How to stop getting breadcrumb errors

    Hello

    Ever since the new Search Console introduced the breadcrumbs report, I am getting 1 error repeated on 182 pages. The link I added to this thread is just one of those tens of pages with this error.

    The error is: Invalid URL in field “id”

    I believe this is because in the breadcrumbs the page/post is listed, but it’s not a url.

    What should I do to fix this error?

    Dear mirelaiepurela,

    We are currently using breadcrumb-trail for breadcrumbs.
    You can disable it from
    Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Breadcrumb Options

    I don’t want to disable breadcrumbs.

    When is the next update scheduled? This is affecting my SEO, probably my ranking, too. I’m now publishing one post every weekday and more than one page per day, but if it’s always with errors I can’t expect to improve my ranking and thus my traffic, either.

    We don’t have any fixed schedule for now. We will fix it in the near feature.
    Meanwhile, you can edit the function travel_way_breadcrumbs , this function is responsible to display breadcrumbs.
