[Custom Field Template] Load Issues

  • I have one custom field template assigned for posts. When I click new post, go to custom field template and click “Load” for the template assigned to posts, it doesn’t load.

    Similarly, I have two types of C.F Template assigned for pages. When I click new page, go to custom field template, select one, and click “Load”, the template does not load. However, when I change the Template file in the Attibutes section to something else, then switch back to the original, the C.F. Template loads and works fine thereafter.

    This problem is occurring on our production box which is hosted on RoyaltyHosting. This issue is not encountered on our local development box with the same codebase.

    Could it be some setting on the host provider that may be interfering with C.F. Template from working properly? Has anyone encountered this issue?

  • When I encoutered a problem alike, the issue was the size of my template.

    No problems on my dev. server, yet my hosting provider couldn’t handle the amount of memory the CFT consumed/ generated.

    I resolved this issue by splitting (SELECT fieldlists where to big in size) up the template.
