Email Encoder conflict with Seedprod Coming Soon Page Pro plugin

    Since updating to Email Encoder 2.0.1, mailto links no longer work in Seedprod Coming Soon Page Pro content area. I’ve had to go into each of my sites to change the EE “Protect emails using” setting to “automatically the best method (excluding javascript)” in order to get the mailto links to work again.

    Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it is annoying to have to change all the settings.

    Hey @lewatson – Thank you a lot for your message and sorry to hear that you face issues.
    I tried now to reproduce the issue using the free version but within the content area, everything looks fine to me, even with javascript active.
    Could you please share some more information on what happens if you activate “with javascript”?
    It definitely must be some incompatibility since this should normally not break your site.
    I’m happy to assist you with some further tests.

    With Seedprod Coming Soon Page Pro active for the entire site, and logged out (so coming soon page will be shown):

    ~ with javascript option
    – hovering over link I see “javascript;”
    – doesn’t launch email

    ~ excluding javascript option
    – hovering over link I see “mailto:[email protected]”
    – email launched

    This issue is caused because the Seedprod Coming Soon Page Pro plugin does not enqueue the main scripts and styles by default.

    To solve this issue:

    Please head over to your Coming Soon page within the Seedprod Coming Soon Page Pro plugin and expand the Advanced Scripts accordion at the left.
    There you will find a button called Enable 3rd Party Plugins. Please enable this button and you will see that the scripts are loaded properly again.
