Force MP3 Download For Sermons

My sermons are added using mp3 links from Podbean.com. My sermons show up and play fine on my website using Sermon Manager, but when I click Sermon Manager’s download icon to download, the MP3 opens in a new browser tab and begins to play. I would like them to open a “Save link as” box automatically when I click the download button. I’ve tried to force downloads of MP3 files on my site by editing my .HTACCESS file, but it’s not working. I’m guessing it might be failing because the MP3s are hosted externally rather than on my domain, and thus the .HTACCESS doesn’t affect them.

I’ve looked for an option within Sermon Manager to solve this issue, but haven’t found any solutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
