Plugin stopped working two days ago and I’m now getting a Google Maps error. There have been no changes to the website and the google account API is set up correctly. Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

the error I see is console NoApiKeys (You are using this API without a key.)

Do you see the API Key in the settings page of the plugin?

    Let us know.

    Thanks

Yes, the API key is entered in the settings page.

It looks like whatever you are using is not adding the API call the correct WordPress way, maybe they have their own input for the key or you should ask them to add the API key the WordPress way and then our plugin will work.

    Thanks,

It’s odd, because it’s been working fine for years and it just suddenly stopped. There’s been no changes on our end. Could it be anything else?

    We have made no changes…
I can see from the site source code that the API key is not being added to the JS file, and the JS file seems to be being added inline (the wrong way).

The only things i can think of are that maybe the system you are using did an update? Or you change the page to use a page builder? (i’m just guessing, there could be a number of reasons, but i can assure you its nothing we have changed)

    Thanks,

No, nothing updated, which is why it’s so strange. I was curious if there was an update on Google’s end. I ended up manually adding my API key to the end of the Google API urls and it’s now working. Yes, the JS is added inline. The theme is very, very old, so we occasionally encounter issues such as these. Thank you again for taking the time to look into this!
