Help with Saving new Settings

  • Hi All,

    Every time I try to save out of the wordpress/wp-admin/options-general.php I am taken to:
    wordpress/wp-admin/install.php and essentially asked to re-start the intallation process. any idese how to solve this?

    Please answer in an “idiot proof” way, so I have no options but to understand you.

  • log in to host’s phpmyadmin
    check mark the wp_options table
    scroll to bottom of screen
    from drop down menu, choose “repair”
    that should do it
