Digital Screen: Scrolling text and translation of month name

  • Assalamu Alaikkum brother.
    May Allah SWT give you rewards for the efforts you have put on to bring the Prayer time plug-in available for all of us.

    I have few questions tthat needs clarificate from you, Insha-Allah.:

    1. Ditital Screen tab: In earlier versions, you had an option to type the desired scrolling text. But, in the current version, this option is not available?! Any reason to removal ?

    2. Change Language: Even after translating the month name in my language (Tamil), still the month shown in English only.. How to display the month name in other languages?

    3. Is there any possibility to add an option to translate Arabic months name in the desired language(s) ?

    salaam brother,

    1. It is not removed at all, in fact it is enhanced. If you look at right, you will see the new example. Now you can have different monitor in the masjid with different BLINK and SCROLL text.

    2. Do you mean in the digital screen?

    3. I will add that feature soon iA.

    Thanks for your reply. Below are my obervation/comment/response to your 3 replies to my questions:

    1. Yes, I have noticed now.

    Please confirm the below Observations:
    ?
    a. Standard scrolling text is ‘Change of Iqamah for next day’ and Standard blinking
    text is ‘Welcome to the House of Allah”.

    b. Standard scrolling text for change of Iqamah for next day will NOT work, if we
    insert/use short code for optional scrolling text.

    c. Using both optional Short codes for ‘scrolling’ and ‘blinking’ texts not giving
    displayed; either scroll or blink text is working.

    2. Yes, it’s in Digital Screen.
    Any possibility display the month and day name in other languages (language
    translation tab) ?

    3. Insha-Allah, We will wait.

    Please reply and confirm the above.

    Brother Mustafiz, for your information, with your help and by the Grace of Allah (SWT), soon I will be able to setup a Digital Prayer Time in our Masjid which is in southern part of India.
