Email updates not sent

Hi there,

I have installed Jetpack and added a subscription widget to my sidebar. I tried subscribing with a couple of email addresses and both times have received the confirmation of subscription.

However I have tested publishing a new posts, but haven’t received any email updates on neither of the addresses. Any help would be very appreciated!
