• I’d like to change my default date format to:
    Wednesday a€?? 12/22/2004
To do that, I’ve always used — , however when I try typing:
l — n/j/Y into the Default Date Format box, I end up with:
    Output: Wednesday &1222am0411; 12/22/2004
Which isn’t quite what I had in mind…
Can someone tell me the correct way to go about using a special character in the default date format box?
    Thanks
    Cindi

  • https://ca3.php.net/date/ – Maybe this page will help.

I checked that page out in order to put the day of the week in there, and that part’s working just fine.
I can cut and paste an em dash into the box as is, but I always prefer using character codes for special characters. Is there a different character code for an em dash in php? It’s the dash in the box that’s giving the problem, rather than the date itself.
