Transferring blog between hosts

Hi I am moving my blog https://theriveroflife.com from one hosting company to another. The blog is very simple, just text. I will make a copy of my WordPress files. In addition I think I need to export the contents of the SQL database. The existing host uses phpMyAdmin -2.11.3. The new company uses cPanel 11.24.5.

There are loads of options available for exporting so I have used the default and saved as an .sql file. Opening with Notepad it looks OK – I can see the posts and comments. Can anybody tell me if this will import OK into the new database. And is there anything else to do which I haven’t thought of?
