Custom Header Error – Not Showing

  • Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Thanks Esmi. I tried CTRL and F5 but it didn’t produce the new changes. Since I’m new to using www.ads-software.com, can you tell me how to clear the cache?

    You need to clear the cache in your own web browser. WordPress doesn’t have a cache unless you’re using a caching plugin such as WP Super Cache.

    However, it looks like you have a hosting problem which is affecting your ability to insert a new header image via WordPress. Spotted the following error in your pages that relates to your custom header:

    The GD image library is not installed

    So, you can have a word with your hosting provider and see if you can persuade them to install the GD image Library. Or you can reset the header back to the default setting via Admin/Appearance/Custom Header then upload your new image (pre-sized to 950px by 170px and renamed “header.jpg”) to wp-content/themes/yashfa/images using FTP.
