Input Fields in custom page template

    I have a custom page template that has an input field with an css id that reflects the css id in the wp datepicker plugin settings. Problem is, I have yet to see the input field show the date picker when clicked on. Is it possible for me to make this plugin compatible with a custom page template?

    It’s a default behavior of this plugin, that you need to click on input field. Kindly send me a screenshot to explain so i can understand your requirement better.
