Autoptimize Aggregate JS-files breaks functionality of website

well, start with;
* unticking the try/catch wrapping option
* disable JS/ CSS optimization in WP Fastest Cache (using 2 plugins to do CSS/ JS optimizatoin/ minification/ … can break things in unexpected ways)

and once that is done have a look at what JS errors are still shown on the browser console ?

Thank you for the fast reply..Now, everything seems to be working fine, I still have some errors in console, but they do not mean much to me, to be honest.

Thanks for your help, for now, I will try to turn on some additional modification features and see if it will work

I have used Autoptimize plugin for speed up website but last few days there are issues coming on this plugin. Without tick Aggregate JS-files? this option website working properly but speed on google insight displaying too low. but when i tick Aggregate JS-files? this option – website all images disappear – js not working. Popup not working, testimonial slider working stop.

Can you guide me how to rectify this issue?

Thank you sir.. I have added “plugins/wp-megamenu” on optimizatin exclusion list. Now JS is working fine. But still Images are not show. may be issue with ‘Lazyload by WP Rocket’ plugins which i used for improving page loding time.

Can you suggest me for images issue. i have also tried to add “plugins/rocket-lazy-load/” on optimizatin exclusion list but not worked.

I think you have “also aggregate inline JS” on, can you untick that and try again?

you have the same errors when AO is not active (by virtue of the ?ao_noptimize=1 parameter);

re. pagespeed insight; I the first thing to do would be installing a page cache plugin such as “keycdn cache enabler” or “wp super cache”?

I am going through exactly the same thing. I have followed every steps you directed here yet my own problem is not getting resolved. The only way it gets resolved is to uncheck both the aggregate JS and CSS files. And when I do it, the site loads slow.

Whenever I either or both js and css, the pop up stop, submenus stop, post widget start displaying like a chainsaw victim. Please what can I do to fix this?

In addition, some images in the homepage won’t show any longer even after I have unchecked the js and css options. I thought it was the smush pro plugin but the issue persisted after I have deactivate the smush pro.
The steps you suggested here, are not working for me.
