Plugin missing after update

    After an update, the plugin disappeared from my plugin list and the mailing list sign up form is no longer visible on my site. The plugin files still exist in the plugin folder. How do I reinstall without losing settings? Thank you.

    Hi @marinamarketing,

    That is really weird – perhaps some files went missing during the update process?

    Anyway: to re-install the plugin you can safely remove the plugin files from /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ and then install a fresh copy of the plugin. Your settings will not be removed, so you can jump right back in after the new files are in place and the plugin is activated again.
