iThemes Sync plugin error

    I have iThemes Sync plugin auto-update set to “disabled”.
    However I wonder if the plugin is trying to override that setting.

    Receiving the following email for all sites where iThemes Sync and EUM plugin are enabled.

    “Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Easy Updates Manager.”

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 139 of the file /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/includes/MPSUM_Logs.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_plugin_updates() in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/includes/MPSUM_Logs.php:139

  • Hello I received several emails exactly the same this morning too. Is it a clash with easy updates manager and ithemes sync?

    I am seeing this:

    “The following constants are set and will prevent automatic updates in Easy Updates Manager.
    Please check your wp-config.php file or other files for these constants and remove them to allow Easy Updates Manager to have control.

    AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED: This constant disables any auto updates.
    WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE: This constant disables WordPress core from being automatically updated.”

    Automatic updates for iThemes Sync are switched OFF anyway.

    Hi I saw yesterday after your post ‘easy updates’ released a new plugin update. I did that update and this morning I didn’t have any error emails, so fingers crossed.
