Migrating from Location Autocomplete for BuddyPress

    Hi pixieblitz,

    The easiest path is to have “Location Autocomplete for BuddyPress” register their custom field type with “BP Profile Search”, and it will become immediately searchable by distance and by text.

    The relevant documentation is in:

    They can simply adapt the registration code from “BP Distance Search” and add it to their plugin, and I’m available to help if needed.

    The more difficult path is to migrate the data from “Location Autocomplete for BuddyPress” to “BP Distance Search”, because you’ll need a good programmer to write the necessary code.

    So I suggest you ask the BuddyBoss team to register their field type with “BP Profile Search”, and you can mention this forum thread for reference.
