    Hi,
I’m developing my webpage with the Neve Theme and I’m very happy with it. Previously I was using the Mins theme and it wasn’t working for me.

The only problem I find now is that the posts (I only have one right now) are not showing on the posts page.

Here is a screenshot of what I see.
Here a screenshot of the editing page. If I preview that same page I am shown the Home page, which is pretty weird.

    I don’t know what’s happening. Any idea?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

What’s happening is that you have set up the Cursos Eventos page as the Posts page in Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays https://prnt.sc/phi7ti and that page now acts a the blog page, displaying all the posts ( articles ) on your site, no matter what content you add in it.
Let me know if that makes sense and what do you want to achieve.

    Regards,
    Rodica

    Hi Rodica,
thanks for answering my question. As a matter of fact I want a static homepage and I want Cursos/Eventos to be my blog/posts page, like you can see here: https://prntscr.com/phujcn

The problem is that the posts don’t show properly on the Cursos /Eventos page. Right now I only have one + the Hello World welcome to WordPress post.
If I go to editing mode and then to my post and I click on ‘View’ I can see it correctly, like you can see here https://prntscr.com/phumvl

However, if I exit the editing mode, go to my website and to the Cursos/Eventos page I cannot see the post properly, like you can see here:

    Hi,

Ok, I understand now what you mean. That’s the normal behavior on a blog page, to show only the excerpt of the posts, not the entire content. But if that’s what you want, there’s a simple solution for it. You need to go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog/Archive and select 300 for the Excerpt Lenght https://prnt.sc/phy7wf. This will display the entire content of the posts on the blog page.
Let me know if you manage to do that.

    Regards,
    Rodica
