Show image title not file name

    I would like the images to show the title name of the file and not the file name. When creating the galleries I imported from the WordPress library rather than uploading a fresh image. I see others have mentioned this with some other issues.
    I assumed there might be a switch in the settings but I can’t find anything?

    Hi @rwilkin,

    NextGen will automatically take the image’s Title in case that such exists instead of the image’s filename but otherwise it is set to use the filename because the “Alt/Title” field is a required one and respectively it gets auto-filled.

    You can surely manually edit the images “Alt/Title” field by accessing any gallery from “Gallery -> Manage Galleries”
