A wp Noob Needs Gentle Help :(

    That’s my very 1st post !

    Days Back i purchased a domain lovefalls.com (Sorry if xternal links aint allowed , I just need you to understand what actually i want)

    Here are My queries :

    1- I want to create a front page for my web just like this website (indiancinemagallery.com)

    Please tell me how to create a webpage(ofcourse with my own logo) just like above website !

    2- My website is basically about poems,quotations,lyrics etc!

    My Main Page Titles are Poems,Quotations,Lyrics as you can see in my website

    I want to add categories Under Main pages !

    Suppose , If a User Clicks Poems , He will be taken to a page where he can find Categories Like ( Poems > Sad Poems > Posts Under Sad Poems )

    3- On my Header , Main pages words are all in small letters, I want first letter to be in CAPS i-e ‘Poems’ not ‘poems’

    4- I will be more glad if you guys can help me creating animated drop down for main pages !

    I am not sure it is too much, but you have to START somewhere …

    You have to download and install wordpress, see the faq, the manual, read a bit of codex , and start implementing the features…

    Most things you asked are implemented in wordpress like a blogging system, posts , categories , permalinks, you need to read a bit and everything you asked is easy to do , either with the core functions or plugins.

    So after you start, post the URL, and do the final tuning with the help from this forum.
