Need calendar – Can’t find plugins

  • I need a calendar to keep up with coming events. Please advise.

    I downloaded “events-calendar 6.6” to put on my blog page. Instructions say to upload to plugins. Dashboard example pages show “plugins” button on the menu. My menu has no plugins button.

    == Installation ==

    1. Upload events-calendar folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
    2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in the Dashboard.
    3. Set options under Events Calendar/Options on the admin menu.
