No option to create carousel

  • I am having the same(but different user error) issue as one user on your ShapedPlugin forum:

    I’ve lost all access to create new carousels. Now when I go to the plugin the only options available are Settings, Premium and Help. If I go to installed plugins I can see the option to create carousel from the installed plugins page, but that gives me a “You need a higher level of permission. Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user.” The carousels I already have on the site still work however…just cant make new ones.
    I’ve deactivated, uninstalled and re-installed the plugin but no it still stays the same.

    Hi,

    Are you trying to create carousels as an admin user? If your role is admin, please check the admin user role is modified by the other plugin’s permission set to the admin user? If not, please open a support thread here so that we can help fine.

    Yes I am the admin user. I’m afraid I’m not following what you mean but checking the admin user role and changing the plugin’s permissions.

    I have the same problem. I cannot create any carousel as there is no possibility to add photos. The user interface seems to be not working correctly.

    I’m on WordPress 5.3 and OceanWP 1.7.3 theme…
