2AF Not Working on Multisite Install

    Hello,

    I Wordfence network activated on multisite install. We are also using Theme My Login and hosted at wpengine.

    I can set up 2AF no problem. But when i get the 2AF input box after entering username and password… nothing happens and I can’t figure why. Its like the browser doesn’t even detect that I clicked the button.

    I searched around for a while but cannot find anyone having this same problem.

    If you check the browser console do you see any errors on the login page?

    If so, there might be a conflict either with the theme or one of the plugins you’re using, could you try temporarily switching to a default theme if you’re not already using one and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue persists? I’d pay special attention to the Theme My Login plugin.

    I’m having the same issues.

    The only way I can log into the site is changing the name of the folder in the plugin directory.

    I disabled 2FA and with Wordfence enabled I still can’t log in as it’s telling me and all users they have wrong password.

    Thanks for the follow up. No there are no errors showing in the console.

    Applied default theme and no plugin conflicts with theme my login.

    Can’t disable all plugins as will break my site and render it unusable, even for testing. I test it with Theme my login disabled.

    Hey @srmarketing,

    If a plugin was interfering I’d expect to errors in the console.

    Can you try in a different browser will all extensions disabled? Perhaps in incognito or private mode?

    If this doesn’t help, can you try resetting Wordfence?
