Default to month with event

I’m using TEC for my band. We don’t currently have a lot of gigs scheduled. In fact we have none for this month. Therefore when I go the events page: https://thruthehazeband.com/events/ I get an empty calendar.

Next month, we have 2 gigs. Is there a way to have TEC show the month with the next upcoming event at the default? In this case, instead of showing October where there are no events, default to November where there are events?
