Are you sure you want to do this?

    i am trying to update WP from 4.7.15 to 5.2.4, but then getting the “Are you sure you want to do this” error message with nothing actually happening…

    and i am only trying to update it, because it wont even add any media files(pictures) to edited posts.
    all plugin updates and comments do work, but those 2 mentioned do not work for some reason…

    and because i have some special plugin that holds up the whole structure of the site, should i then just try updating it manually via this tutorial? (i already tried to switch off all other plugins and switched to the default theme, altho there doesnt seem to be any off button for the ShiftNav plugin at all…):

    well, now i also realized that the date format is also completely wrong – it shows 05:05 instead of 17:05 and when i tried to change some timezone/time settings in the general options, i got some really weird “Serialized data” forms/lines showing up in infinite loop (the scrollbar kept getting smaller really fast)

    i think wp-statistics plugin is also not working that well, because it does not show the “Pages” and most of the other links anymore…
