NexGen Sidebar Widget Not Working

    Hello,

    I use the NexGen sidebar widget to display four random thumbnails from my NexGen galleries. I know that a while back the code was changed from randomly changing on every page load to one per day. However, for the past couple of weeks, the same four images are not changing.

    Have you heard of this issue from other users?

    Hi @redtravelmaster,

    Can you please access “Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous” and check “Yes” for the “Use alternative method of retrieving random image galleries” then “Save Options” and check if this will change anything?

    I changed the setting yesterday as suggested, but as of now, 24 hours later, my images have not changed.

    Hi @redtravelmaster,

    Can you also make sure that you have selected “Random” in the widget’s settings? If this is the case, I hope that you wouldn’t mind submitting an issue report at this link and let the support agent know that Mihai asked you to submit the ticket ( also mention the forum thread’s link )

    Yes, I can confirm that I also set the Widget to “Random.”
