• I cant catch a break!!! I have not edited the content of the wp-content folder nor have I made changes to the theme that I am using in a long time

I went into the editor to just remove a div that I did not need there, and I get this weird thing.

Basically, I can open the page that I want to edit, make the changes, and click UPDATE. Unfortunately, when i click UPDATE, get a blank page with two empty text area fields, and the word AUTHENTICATE. I put in my username and password and hit submit.. and the changes do not take.. but it just brings me back to the editor.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

here is the blog (it has a link to the template provider)

I know i can edit locally on my computer, but this is just so much more convenient when doing small things like this.

has anyone seen anything like this before?

ok.. So i am assuming that this is the big hack everyone was talking about.. and probably the root of all of my issues.

So here is the thing.. HOW DO I FIX IT?!

WHERE is there a safe install?
