Hi folks,

I just started a small project to share sermons for evangelism, but the outline looks a bit weird.

– I disabled full with (want to have sidebar)
– I choose not to override theme otherwise it looks even more bad

However some is not right:
– The featured image is very small
– In the list (www.esplorare.nl/reflections) i do get a normal archive shown, but the filters are missing.

Can someone help me with that?

I really like the theme I am using though :-). But if there’s something better working what look’s like it, that would be ok too.

The Feature Image is dependent on the theme, not the plugin.

Make sure you’re not hiding the filter by unchecking ‘Sermons > Settings > Display’.

Also, if you are just using the shortcode to display your archive page, you will also need to add [sermon_sort_fields] to display the filters.

Thanks for the reply. The image is gone when I uncheck indeed.

However on the archive pages I’m not sure what to do. I’m not using the shortcode here, but directly the main slug, which shows like this now:

Edit: when I uncheck the option under advanced about fullscreen the detail of the sermon is broken as well:

It’s possible your theme isn’t playing nice with Sermon Manager. I suggest changing to one of the WordPress themes like “NineteenTwenty” of “SeventeenTwenty” and see if that fixes that. I know both of those themes work.

Do you have a re-direct? The default sermon archive is ‘sermons’ not ‘reflections’. If I type in ‘sermons’ instead of ‘reflections’, it doesn’t work, but if I type in the default ‘https://www.esplorare.nl/en/?post_type=wpfc_sermon’, your page displays correct, including the menu.
